Week 2 - Learning 2.0

Learning 2.0 is interesting and very challenging for me. While it takes time, work and effort to go through all 12 weeks of this course, I am slowly developing some confidence in the area. I will learn how to create a blog, explore flicker, post pictures to flicker, Real Simple Syndication, explore Wiki, Youtube and much more.

I like the idea of "Lifelong learning". It is defined as learning which takes place through life and in different situations but one which is not set up for childhood and the classroom. Lifelong learning can be established as:
- Home Schooling
- Adult education or the acquisition of formal qualifications or work and leisure skills later in life
- Continuing education through courses offered by higher education institutions
-Personal learning using different sources of tools including online applications.

Each blog is different. Different information, layout and different photos or pictures. I find the concept of blogging quite fascinating, particularly the ability to make comments on blogs, pictures or photos. The ability to learn more about a persons beliefs when they voice their opinion simply by commenting on a photo or a blog.

A blog is a very useful tool inside the library. Staff can be keep informed about ongoing events or happenings in the library

For a client/audience blogs are used to inform about Library events and activities, for HSC assignments and frequently asked questions
